Price and Deposits
We do request that you get in contact with us or have the puppy adoption application sent in and approved before sending a payment. This saves us a lot of time.
If you are out of state, we would like to make sure we have travel plans and shipping details sorted out before you commit to a puppy because deposits are non-refundable. So please research your best options.
THE PRICE FOR ALL GOLDEN PAWS PUPPIES currently is $2,500 - note: limited registration papers are given with our puppies. Starting in 2027, our puppies will be $2,800.
We do require that we have all your contact information and have spoken with you before we get any type of deposit or payment.
ALL Deposits are non-refundable except in the case something happens on our end before the puppy leaves. We can take deposits in form of card or cash. All checks and letters must be written to me.
If for any reason you put a deposit down and decide to wait for another litter you have 12 months to pick another puppy (unless we do not have a litter available in that time).
GET ON OUR LIST
Because we like to have time to screen future puppy homes and get to know our new puppy parents, we do take "early deposits" of $200 before the breeding has taken place. After pups are confirmed by ultrasound, we will take the remainder of the deposit ($300).
This deposit is applied towards the total deposit and the total price.
TOTAL DEPOSIT
The total deposit is $500 and will go towards the total price. Putting a deposit down will secure your spot on our list for a puppy, or guarantee a puppy that we discussed.
If you have paid an "early deposit", then you will only have the difference remaining.

FORMS OF PAYMENT
We can take deposits in form of card, Venmo, or cash FOR DEPOSIT ONLY. Remainder of balance is due by card or cash only.

WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING PERSONAL CHECKS OR ANY OTHER PAYMENT NOT MENTIONED ABOVE unless you find us on Good Dog, we do accept payments through them for your safety and security in place for an extra fee.
Puppy Selection Process
At Golden Paws Goldens, our goal is to place each puppy in the home where they will thrive. While families are placed on our waitlist in order of deposit, we do not have families select puppies themselves.
Instead, we carefully evaluate each puppy’s personality, energy level, confidence, and temperament as they grow. Because we spend every day with our puppies and know them best, we match each puppy with the family that we believe will be the best fit.
We also take time to get to know each family on our waitlist, including their lifestyle, activity level, home environment, and what they are hoping for in a puppy. This helps us make thoughtful placements that set both the puppy and their new family up for long-term success. We do allow families to meet puppies at about 5 weeks old and will take into consideration if you are favoring a certain puppy.
Our priority is ensuring that every puppy is placed in the home where they will flourish, and that every family receives a puppy that truly fits their household.
Families will still receive photos, updates, and information about their puppy throughout the process.
PAST PUPPY BUYER DISCOUNT
WE LOVE OUR PAST PUPPY BUYERS, so we would love to give you a discount. We will take $200 off your total price if you are purchasing your second or third puppy from us!
Just reach out to us for that so we can be sure to give you the discount. The discount, however, is only for that household and cannot be passed to friends or close family.
